do you know the way

23 May, 2008

My, it’s been a long time since I’ve posted.

In summation:Lily and Kent did not, in fact, get married, but a whole bunch of fags and dykes did due to the legalization of gay marriage in California.

In the ten days or so between the 6th and the 15th, not much happened of note… Anton continued his lazy persuit of Franz while spending about 80% of his free time with me. (Granted, the reason that Franz hasn’t fucked him yet is probably due to his still fucking his girlfriend, but whatever…) It really got to the point where I couldn’t remember the last time I hadn’t at least seen A. I don’t know, we’ve entered into this state where it’s just assumed by the both of us that we’re going to at least communicate at some point every day… even when I don’t feel i have any reason to talk to him i’ll get a text, an IM, a call, etc. I don’t know what to make of that, but I’m getting laid on a semi-regular basis, so whatever.

So now we’re caught up to the 15th. I had only seen A in passing the day before, as he had to beat rush hour traffic in order to cuddle up with Franz during a film see Iron Man. We met downtown as we had been wrangled into seeing this show that Isis was in. We played on the swingsets and then booked it to the theatre. My first reaction was OMG HOT. The swamp cooler had broken and the theatre was scalding hot- the first thing that happened when I sat down was a sheen of sweat breaking over me. Isis had been railing against the show for a straight month, and my thought as the lights went down was “oh my god. I’m in a tiny, hot theatre and I’m going to watch a terrible show. This is Theatre Hell.” Fortunately, the show was actually fairly enjoyable, and afterwards we went out to Simon’s for a ouple of crunchy Stellas. It was one of those nights where beer was a requirement, not an option.

Friday was also very relaxed, until it wasn’t… the plan was a very belated birthday dinner with Luna and J, plus Anton, and then a movie night with A. The first part went off without a hitch, but the second part, not so much. We ended up hanging out in SJ’s apartment while regaling A with tales of our punk-rock apartment. That was just one of those places where if it could be entertaining in three years but incredibly stressful at the time, it happened… but fortunately the intervening years have passed. We ended up staying out so late that I missed my bus and had to take an alternate route home (which included A giving me a ride on his scooter). I ended up back home around 11, same as Isis, and we decided to drink rum and orange juice until Severus got in from his gaming session- at 2 AM, no less. Aggravated sigh. We all passed out around 5 and S and I ended up cuddling. Let me explain that by saying that really, while I’m kind of picky about who I want to cuddle with, if someone wants to cuddle with me, I have no issue with it. Anyway, we wake up around two, after Anton has called me a couple times and finally ended up calling S. That’s when the trip to SF began, and that, uh, gets its own post.
